IDENTITY & HISTORY
Uganda Mixed Martial Arts Federation (UMMAF) is the national governing body dedicated to the structured development of mixed martial arts across Uganda.
Since its inception, the federation has worked tirelessly to promote safe participation, athlete education, and professional standards. We serve as the bridge between Ugandan MMA and the global sporting community, ensuring that our athletes have the platform and support they need to succeed at the highest levels.
Our journey began with a vision to unite all martial arts clubs in Uganda under a single professional umbrella, aligned with international standards of safety, competition, and sportsmanship.

Regulation
Regulating all MMA competitions and events to ensure safe and fair competition across all levels of the sport in Uganda.
Growth
Developing grassroots pathways for young athletes and promoting the sport as a tool of national development.
Safety
Implementing strict anti-doping and medical safety protocols to protect the health and well-being of all our athletes.
Education
Providing certified education and workshops for coaches and officials, aligned with global standards.
